In Cherkasy National University named after B.Khmelnitsky has started a project "Children's Space which aims to create a friendly environment for students and teachers with family responsibilities.

To date, the project team has studied the experience of Family Support Center "Student stork" of Sumy State University, conducted series of training sessions, also carried out a survey "Fundamentals of family happiness" among students and university employees on the need for this project. Also the active work on Facebook is going on, which aims on the formation of the initiative group. Participants actively preparing the necessary documentation for grant form volunteer corps to work with children.

The project team "Children's room" showed ingenuity in finding opportunities for creating family-friendly approaches in their institution, demonstrating a proactive stance, ability and willingness to work towards a better environment for the students, as family-friendly approaches in universities is required time, which has numerous advantages for the university community, the image of the university and society in general.
