The new draft called "European Reconciliation Package" is going to be the solution to how to empower women and to promote gender equality.

On the International Women's Day 2015, the Confederation of Family Organizations in the European Union (COFACE) presents a draft of strategies of European reconciliation, a unique strategic document with specific recommendations to be made in the EU and at national level to empower women and to contribute to the welfare of the society as a whole.

Taking a giant leap forward, COFACE launched on March 3rd the European Reconciliation Package, a unique policy document applying a systemic approach to the complex issue of work-life balance, to both its related challenges and possible solutions all over the Europe.

The European Reconciliation Package presents precise recommendations of what needs to be done at the level of the EU and at the national level to empower women and to contribute to gender and pay rate equality, to increase employment rates, to improve the  infrastructure of child and health care and to promote the general wellbeing.

COFACE encourages the policy-makers, employers and legislators to transform the recommendations into real actions for the improvement of the working conditions and wellbeing of all women and society in general.

It’s necessary to remember that Sumy State University is also a member of the COFACE.
