On May, 10 in Sumy the public action "Safe Motherhood" was held to the occasion of the beginning of the week Ukrainian family planning and Mother's Day.

The organizer of the action was the NGO "Center for Civic Initiatives" Intelligence Sumy "(supported by USAID). Right in the center of Sumy a concert program was proposed to people and information campaign of distributing materials program "Health of Ukrainian Women" took place. Performance of songs about mother in different languages of the Student Club of SSU praised Sumy citizens and guests. The volunteer action greeted all women to the occasion of Mother’s Day and spread useful information. All this work was made in order to emphasize once again – it’s  never too early to take care of women's health and the reproductive health in order to ensure that in the future it would be  safe and desirable to experience the joy of motherhood.
