1-3 July in Sumy State University held an international seminar "Gender Audit in universities as a tool to promote policy of equal rights and opportunities for women and men in education". The event was organized in partnership with Ukrainian Network of Gender Education Universities and Delegation of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Ukraine.

The workshop brought together about 60 participants representing 23 Ukrainian universities from 13 cities of Ukraine and delegation of Belarus of 15 gender experts as well as a foreign expert of gender audit Silke Steynhilber (Germany).The participants of the seminar visited with a great interest "Student's stork" - a room for parents with children.

Throughout the seminar the "Stork" hospitably accept children participating in this event thus demonstrating an increasingly widespread this practice in developed countries. Now, not only abroad, but also here in Ukraine can attend seminars and conferences with the children!
