Family Support Center of Sumy State University traditionally takes part in World Breastfeeding Week, which is celebrated on August 1-7. The World Alliance activities in support of breastfeeding (World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action - WABA) has announced the motto of the Week - 2015 as "Breastfeeding and Work: let's make it works!".

Partners of this campaign are planning to empower and support all women who work in the formal and informal sectors in terms of a balanced combination of raising children, particularly with breastfeeding in global, regional and national levels. 

Room for parents with children established in Sumy State University allows all interested young mothers to combine breastfeeding with the continuation of studies or work. But nowadays it is one of the few still success stories worthy to be emulated by other universities, organizations, institutions in Ukraine.
