Trainings "Family friendly university" has successfully started

The first training for the initiative “Family Friendly University” was successfully conducted in Sumy State University. Training participants became experts of department of social and extracurricular work of the university. The purpose of the training was for participants to develop the skills necessary for implementing family friendly policies in their respective cities.

One of the technology industry’s most serious shortcomings is that it leaves out women and some minorities. I have written a lot about the dearth of women and why this is an important issue. I am also crowdcreating a book, Innovating Women, on how to fix this imbalance. In a nutshell, we need to do this for the economy and to boost innovation.

Father’s Day is an annual holiday in honour of fathers which is celebrated in most countries of the world. For the first time it was celebrated on the 19th of June, 1910 in the USA. Soon other countries where the respect to the family values was pronounced began to celebrate this day honouring a man-father. In Ukraine the tradition to celebrate Father’s Day on the 3rd Sunday of September was established in 2006.
